PAKMMA Bulletin 3!
Here we go with the third PAKMMA bulletin!
Starting with the capital – Uloomi Karim Shaheen of Team Fight Fortress returns from his 10 week trip to Thailand where he trained at the world famous “Phuket Top Team” and competed in and won all three of his Pro-Muay Thai bouts. He brings back a wealth of information and the standards for all fights and gyms rises one more notch.
In Lahore, the Lahore Kickboxing Association will be holding an inter-club championship at MOON MARKET PARK GULSHAN RAVI. The competition shall be on SEPTEMBER 21st and starts at 10 am. Refreshments will be provided to all players and their coaches. Please contact Haider Ali 0345-411-5110 for more information about this event. All are encouraged to attend! Support local competitions, it’s good for players and good for the sport of MMA.
Finally, we head down south to Karachi where 3G MMA under captain Ovais Shah has opened their new club in North Nazimabad. Check this place out! 1200 square feet of mat space as well as an area for athletes to stay which has wifi and a kitchen! 3G will be sharing more pictures and also a video tour soon. As you can see, these little milestones and achievements will add up. The sport of MMA in Pakistan IS growing and it’s truly amazing to see what has been going on since we began documenting the sport of MMA in 2008.
