ONE FC announces three new shows in 2012
AFter a successful September event in Singapore, ONE FC, Asia’s biggest MMA promotion has announced that it will be hosting three events in the beginning of 2012.
The official dates are as follows –
February 11: Jakarta, Indonesia at Kelapa Gading Sports Mall
March 31: Singapore at the Singapore Indoor stadium
April 27: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Stadium Negara
According to inside sources, another announcement is to take place this week and there is a lot of speculation that this announcement may be regarding a large number of top Asian up and comers who have signed long term contracts with the promotion.
With big plans and a budget to match ONE FC has set its sights on hosting events all over Asia and it has been said numerous times that ONE FC is poised to become the UFC in Asia. At this moment in time, with the marketing that has been done and the multi-country plans in place, it looks that that statement may be more than hype.
And what does this mean for Pakistan and Pakistani fighters? It’s pretty much guaranteed that with a growing MMA scene in the country, and loads of tough guys with lots of talent, ONE FC is the perfect platform for Pakistani fighters to aim for who want to make a career out of combat athletics.
